Each year the Mead Endowment invites about a dozen faculty members to become Mead Honored Faculty. These faculty are handpicked by their deans for their outstanding potential to become friends and mentors of students as well as examples for other faculty. Each Honoree proposes a creative “Dream Idea” that will allow him or her to interact with students in meaningful and memorable ways not afforded by their regular classroom routines. The Mead Endowment provides funding for the projects.
