Professor Evans will invite ten Darden faculty to meet over dinner with 60 remote Darden Executive MBA students in groups of six students and one faculty during twice yearly EMBA residencies in Charlottesville.

These exchanges provide an opportunity for faculty to share in depth their research and teaching expertise, broadening students’ perspectives about areas of concentration and potential career opportunities. Each student will attend the dinner of their choice based on fit between the student’s interests and the professor’s expertise.

58 students + 10 faculty and with an average meal cost of $60 per person, the cost would be $4080.  That is in excess of the maximum of $3500, but I will take it upon myself to find the remaining resources elsewhere in the university to cover the cost.
